Timber sliding doors with top hung rollers are used when door weight exceeds what steel bottom rollers can handle. They have a smooth operation and can have timber pelmets either side at the top to hide top track and wheels. Bottom rolling slider doors can have an aluminium channel at the bottom with bearing wheels fitted for smooth operation. Custom made Top Hung sliding timber doors can operate with no bottom channel at all to create a seamless transition from one space to another.
